EPPO GEP Tests

We provide accredited tests for assessing biological efficacy of plant protection products according to EPPO – GEP standards.

The Agricultural Research Institute Kromeriz, Ltd., - Department of Plant Protection and Agronomy, in addition to other activities, is accredited to conduct tests for assessing biological efficacy of plant protection products in compliance with principles of good experimental practice (GEP) according to requirements of Directive 91/414/EEC as amended by Directive 93/71/EC for registration purposes of plant protection products.

The trials are set up and conducted according to EPPO standards. Seed protectants, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, growth regulators and others are tested for field crops (wheat, barley, rye, poppy, maize, oilseed rape, sunflower, sugar beet) and permanent crops (vineyards, apple orchards).
